•Personal details (including name and address etc.)
•Mortgage account details
•Certificates for any work carried out on your home (maybe extensions/amends to structure)
•Any planning permission or building regulations relating to the property

You are legally bound to sell the house once contracts have been exchanged. Your solicitor and the solicitor acting for the buyer go through the contracts together to make sure they are identical.
This process takes place after the following have been completed:
• An offer has been accepted
• The buyer’s mortgage has been arranged
• Searches have been carried out
• A deposit has been secured
• A completion date has been arranged
In general, the whole process will take around 12-14 weeks but sometimes it can be a lot quicker – it all depends on who else is in the chain and any other mitigating circumstances.
You’ll be allocated your own conveyancer and assistant who will act as your guide taking you from start to finish of the process.
If you’re seeking to purchase an investment property, you need a conveyancing solicitor to carry out the legal side of the purchase.
Property Move Solicitors have a team of experienced solicitors ready to help guide you through this process, making it as stress-free as possible.
